Kristine has been practicing Workers Compensation Law in New York since 2019. While at a prior firm, she received an Advocacy Award and Impact Award.
In June 2024, Kristine earned the designation “Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP)” at the Litigation Management Institute hosted at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
Kristine started her legal career as a paralegal in 2009, while waiting for the Philippine bar exam results. After passing the bar exam that same year, she was promoted to junior in-house counsel where she handled litigation, contracts, legal and operations advisory. In her first year of law practice, she taught Private International Law (Conflict of Laws) to first year law students for one semester and she also represented a Congressional District Candidate at the 2010 National Elections. A few months later, she served the Philippines’ Department of Justice as a Public Defender. After over three years, she joined the Office of the Special Prosecutor and prosecuted high-ranking public officials before the Anti-Graft Special Court for more than three years.
